Welcome to my website, my own work of art and my virtual building. It’s a creative space where I invite you to become immersed in beautiful, worthy words.

I’ve been freelance writing on a full time basis since 2011 following a corporate ladder climb as a marketing manager.

In 2008 a trip to Italy spurred forth a conscious decision to embrace my love of all things design and I began to provide freelance editorial articles, marketing content and social media strategy to an array of customers namely across architecture, design and fashion.

Freelance writing credentials

This saw me spend time as an editor for the likes of FURNISHING International, building the magazine’s profile both online and offline and a journalist for Sourceable, a leading online industry publication. I’ve ghost written hundreds of blog posts for an array of clients and currently write feature articles for Scyon – building cladding specialists.

I’ve worked with leading international trend forecasters providing reports and analysis whilst being republished globally over at the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat and Le Courrier de l’Architecte in Paris.

A day in the life of Angela

Day to day, I write feature articles, blog posts, website copy, marketing collateral and assist with social media content. I’m also working on a non-fiction novel in the lifestyle sector with a publish date TBA. I have two Staffordshire bull terriers which keep the office productive and remind me when to take breaks or in their case – walks.

My view on modern writing

I’ve found less is more when it comes to posting content and value quality copy that truly connects to your audience.

So if you’re after someone to churn out articles for you – unfortunately I’m not her. However, if you’re seeking a freelance writer who’s competent in research, writing to brand style and providing sharp, clean copy that reads well – well, that is me.
